Join founder and CEO of Make Shift Happen, Marcia Hoffheins & Olivia Howard on this retreat in paradise, where we will spend 7 days and 6 nights at the beachfront Eco Chic Resort & Retreat Center, Amansala Tulum.
We will relax & recharge through daily movement, Make Shift Happen programming, downtime to hang on the beach or by the pool, curated content, group excursions, spa treatments, delicious nourishing food, grounding practices, daily journaling, nurturing the body & mind connection, and surrounding ourselves with like minded people.

About Amansala:
Amansala is named in Sanskrit after Tulum's peaceful, crystal-clear waters. To this day, it is still one of Tulum's most iconic, eco-chic boutique hotels. It is founded on the belief that a vacation is when you return home looking and feeling better than when you left. After years of staying at Amansala it has become a second home to Olivia and I and the staff members are like family.
Accommodations range from beachfront suites to cozy rooms. The architecture embodies the signature eco-chic style of Amansala that includes driftwood, mosaics, river rocks, smooth cement and thatched roofs with staircases that weave together the various spaces within the resort. Sleep to the soothing sound of the ocean and wake up feeling revived and refreshed. Rooms at Amansala are light, airy, spacious and beautifully styled.
Food & Dining
Brunch, breakfast & dinner are included and will be served on property with the exception of one dinner (not included) off site so you can explore Tulum’s amazing food culture.
On site, expect meals that are designed to nourish the mind, body & soul. There will be plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables with enough protein to keep you energized through a day full of movement & workshops.

*About the Temescal: The ceremony, which is a traditional Mayan sweat lodge led by a local shaman, consists of a short introduction, followed by four doors or sessions of this ancient ritual where heated volcanic rocks are added progressively to the sweat lodge. The temescal is designed to cleanse and deepen one's own spiritual path and have a deeper understanding of oneself.

FAQ
Do you handle transportation? / We can arrange transportation from the airport to Amansala with one of their reliable drivers. The cost of transportation is the same each way and is as follows:

This can be charged to your room.
Are there props at the resort? / Yes they have mats, blocks and straps.They do NOT have yogi toes.
Is there wifi access? / Yes.
Do they accommodate food allergies? / Yes their chefs are conscientious of food allergies and can accommodate almost all allergies or aversions. Please make sure to let us know if you have allergy.
Do they have Air Conditioning? / Yes, they have AC offered from 9 pm to 9 am, if you want AC all day, there is an additional fee of 25 USD.
What can I expect the day to be like? / Each day will include two types of movement options, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We will have plenty of free time in the day to enjoy the beach and have some down time, but we also will have excursions and various activities if you choose to join! We really promote doing as much or as little as you want as this is your week in Tulum!
ARE TIPS INCLUDED?
There is a $20 charge daily to your room to account for all staff, but we encourage you to tip your guides on excursions and anyone else you feel inclined to tip that assists you while ther
